Fire District No. Five Proposition

Shall Caddo Parish Fire District Number Five, State of Louisiana (the “District”), levy and collect a tax not to exceed twenty (20) mills (the “Tax”) (an estimated $1,590,601.20 is reasonable expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the Tax for an entire year) on all property subject to taxation within said District, excluding that property annexed by the City of Shreveport prior to the election, for a period of fifteen (15) years, beginning with the year 2020 and ending with the year 2034, for the purpose of maintaining and operating the District’s fire protection facilities, for purchasing fire trucks and other firefighting equipment and paying other costs of maintaining and operating the fire department, including salaries, obtaining water for fire protection purposes, included charges for fire hydrant rentals and services, and all other costs incidental thereto?

(Millage Renewal)

Shall Caddo Parish Fire District No. Six, State of Louisiana (the“District”), continue to levy a special tax of six (6) mills on all property subject to taxation in the District (an estimate $226,370 reasonably expected at this time to be collection form the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2020 and ending with the year 2029, for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining and/or operation fire protection facilities and equipment for the District, Included the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes?
